Happy Purim!
Mishloach manot, also called Purim baskets, are gifts of food or drink that are sent to
family, friends, and community members on Purim day. It is a mitzvah that promotes
unity and friendship.
The Temple Sinai Religious School PTO invites you to celebrate our community and
support Temple Sinai by purchasing Purim bags for your family, your friends, and other
Temple and community members.
Mishloach Manot are $18 each and have an assortment of goodies to celebrate Purim.
Gluten-free and nut-free options are available. All bags are “kosher-style”, meaning the
individual ingredients were certified kosher but are re-packaged.
You may order mishloach manot in two ways:
1. You purchase the basket and designate the person who will pick it up – either
yourself for your own delivery or the person who will receive the basket as a gift.
2. You purchase an anonymous basket and we will deliver it to a community member
who is isolated or alone this holiday season.
If multiple people select the same recipient, a card with all the names of those
purchasing for their benefit will be included. You can select to either donate the extra
funds to Temple Sinai or to an anonymous basket for a community member. The
baskets are lovely and we want to make sure that someone doesn’t end up with more
than they can enjoy!
Orders are requested by February 21 and will be available for pickup on March 12 and
13 at Temple Sinai. Further pickup details will be provided via email.
